Dear Citizen .

Between 12.30am & 12.39am on Monday the 1st of September '20 the same male gained entry to a Vauxhall Corsa parked at the road side.
Entry was gained via an insecure front passenger door , an untidy search was made of the vehicle .
Police had been called to the area , and the male was stopped by the Corsa .
The male was detained .
The victim of the crime stated that money had been removed from the centre console of the vehicle.
The suspect was searched and a large quantity of coins was found about his person .
The male was then arrested.
This incident has resulted in a positive outcome.
However it again highlights the activities of the opportunist thief , and the importance of ensuring your vehicle is secure , and valuables removed whilst the vehicle is parked and unattended.
