South and East - Weekly Round Up

This week the South & East Community Team have been busy locating a high risk missing person in Farley area of Luton and returning him to his ecstatic family; working alongside Luton Council and Bedfordshire Fire to conduct an Environmental Day of Action around the Cowper Street area of Luton; recovering a stolen vehicle from an underground car park in Holly Street; delivering crime prevention advice following concerns from residents around local burglaries; visiting Stopsley Community Garden to learn about the work and fundraising that is going into the project; obtaining a Full 3 month closure order on a business in Park Town operating covertly as a brothel; recovering and disposing of a knife hidden in a location in Park Town; obtaining a closure on a property in Hart Hill area following ongoing ASB reports that were having a detrimental effect on the quality of life to those living nearby; and early morning patrolling in Stopsley Village to support the local shops in the area following a number of thefts.
