Alert message sent 25/08/2020 15:43:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Occurred on 25/08/20 at around 09:00hrs

The victim, who has been a previous victim of this offence has answered his front door to find a white male wearing all black clothing with a black face mask, black baseball cap and white trainers stating that he was doing water works in the area and needed to check the taps at the address. The victim let the male in and they both went upstairs to check the taps. When the victim and this male returned downstairs the victim saw 2 other unknown males leave the address quickly followed by the first male. The victim has then looked into his living room to discover a suitcase and drawers opened and searched with £2,000 missing.

We have established that the males were using a silver BMW 3 series M Sport with very dark tints at the rear, it had silver multi spoke alloys and a shark fin antenna.

Descriptions of the other males are that one was wearing all navy clothing with his hood up and a black face mask and wearing white trainers and the other wearing dark blue jeans a burgundy top with a white collar underneath, white trainers and a black baseball cap.
