Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

This Message is Distributed on Behalf of Scottish Gas Networks

I’m writing to you with another update on our project to upgrade our gas network in the Carmyle Avenue area of Glasgow.

From 19 August, there will be a filter lane closure on the south-bound carriageway in London Road at its junction with Carmyle Avenue. This will be in place  for approximately two weeks. A diversion route will be in place.

Our contractor JT Construction will be carrying out this project on our behalf.

We’re working closely with Scottish Government to make sure we carry out our project in line with all current coronavirus safety guidance. We have extra safety precautions in place to protect our colleagues and our communities from the virus. Our colleagues will be keeping to social distancing guidelines on our sites and we’d ask communities to keep their distance too. There’s more information about our coronavirus response on our website: sgn.co.uk/coronavirus

We’re writing to residents and other local stakeholders to make them aware of our project and explain the details of our work and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our website  https://one.network/?114867424 and using social media and traffic bulletins to keep residents and motorists informed.

Please feel free to also share this information with anyone you think may be impacted by our project.

If you have any other enquiries about this project, please call 07831 730 597 during office hours (8am to 4.30pm) or email customer@sgn.co.uk  outside these times.
