Essential Gas Main Replacement - Onslow Drive Area - Glasgow

Alert message sent 17/08/2020 09:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

This Message is Distributed on Behalf of Scottish Gas Networks

I’m writing to you with an update on our project to upgrade our gas network in Onslow Drive, Glasgow.

Following government advice back in March, we needed to make changes to our ways of working to protect our colleagues and communities from the spread of coronavirus. As a result, we temporarily paused our network upgrade project in your community.

As lockdown restrictions now begin to ease in Scotland, we’re looking to resume our work in Onslow Drive from 17 August and our project will last approximately four weeks.

This work will be carried out by our contractor SSE on our behalf.

We’re working closely with Scottish Government to make sure we carry out our project in line with all expert coronavirus guidance. We have extra safety precautions in place to protect our colleagues and our communities while we work. There’s more information about our coronavirus response on our website: sgn.co.uk/coronavirus

If you have any other enquiries about this project, please call 07831 730 597 during office hours (8am to 4.30pm) or Customer Service on 0800 912 1700 outside these times.

We’re writing to residents and other local stakeholders to make them aware of our project and explain the details of our work. Please feel free to also share this information with anyone you think may be impacted by our project.
