Vehicle theft

Dear Citizen

On 27/07/20 there has been reported a theft from motor vehicle on Weoley Hill, Weoley Castle. Unknown offender(s) have smashed a window to a blue Seat Leon and stolen items from within, before making good their escape.

On 27/07/20 unknown offender(s) have approached a secure and unattended Silver Chevrolet on Alwold Road and have slashed the tyres several times.

On 22/07/20 the owner of a Grey Vauxhall Mokka was approached by a male who asked if he would purchase items from the local shop for him. Upon returning from the shop, and having left the keys in the ignition, he found the vehicle had gone. The vehicle has since been recovered.

Please ensure that no valuables are left inside your vehicle and the vehicle is left secure when not in in use. Never leave your keys in the ignition or your vehicle engine running for even the shortest amount of time.
