Appealing for Information

Information sent on behalf of West Yorkshire Police

Dear Citizen,

Police in Bradford are appealing for information following an incident in Idle this week.

Officers were called at 10pm on Monday 20 July to reports of a concern for safety on Bradford Road.

A car was parked up near the junction of Bradford Road and Doctor Hill and a woman was seen getting out of the car and walking towards Idle village.

The car followed the woman and a man got out and grabbed hold of her and put her in the car and drove off down Bradford Road towards Idle. The car is thought to be a silver VW Golf.

The woman was described as an Asian female, aged 25, 5ft 5”, average build with long black hair. She was wearing a long pink and white striped jumper.

The man is described as an Asian male, late 20s, 5ft 8”, average build with black short hair. He was wearing grey shorts and a grey jumper.

Officers are hoping to trace these people to check on their welfare.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any further information, is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting log number 1981 of 20 July.
