Residential Burglary Report 28 June 2020

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries or attempted burglaries to residential properties (including shed break-ins) over the last period (17 June 2020 – 28 June 2020). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known we have used the actual incident date/times rather than the date the incident was actually reported (as there can be differences).

  • 22 June 2020 (12:30-15:00). Highams Lane. Unknown persons have broken the door handle off the back door and smashed and bent open a side window to gain entry into the property. Untidy search carried out. Items taken include laptop, Macbook. Xbox One, iPad & iPhone.

  • 24 June 2020 (13:15). Junction Road. Suspects have forced entry to the property via the front door and conducted an untidy search of the bedrooms and living room. Cash has been taken and suspects have exited via the front door.

Absconder/AWOL/Wanted (3), Burglary Business & Community (1), Burglary Residential (2), Child Protection Incident (15), Civil Dispute (1), Concern for Safety (1), Contact Record (1), Coronavirus (1), Crime Other (10), Crime Public Order (5), Crime Vehicle (6 ***), Criminal Damage (15), Custody Admin (1), Domestic Incident (25), Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (1), Drugs (9), Drunk/Drug in Charge (4), Family File (1), Fire (1), Fraud Being Investigated (1), Fraud Vulnerable Victim (3), Hate/Diversity Incident (6), Lost/Found Prop/Person (2), Marac (1), Master Occurrence (3), Mental Health (1), Missing Person – Low Risk (2), Missing person – Medium Risk (5), Neighbour Dispute (4), Premises Searched (1), Public Order (9), Sexual Offence (1), Stalking/Harassment (4), Sudden Death Non Suspicious (2), Suspicious Incident (2), Theft (22), Traffic Parking (1), Unauthorised Encampments (1**), Violent Crime Other (5), Violent Crime Public Place (4), Violent Domestic (14), Vulnerable Adult Incident (21), Wildlife (1*).

**Heatherside Rec traveller incursion
*** Inc Stolen VW Transporter from car park, tools stolen from van in car park, vehicle damaged when broken into, van door damaged during break in (Longacres Garden Centre). And separately fuel stolen from petrol tank.

Details from a number of these incidents may have been passed on to the specialist police burglary unit and where suspect vehicle number plates have been spotted, these too are circulated for ANPR notification.

As always, the local neighbourhood team are keen to receive information on all crime spotted or believed to have occurred as this can assist with ongoing enquiries, as well as helping to build up their wider intelligence picture.
