Uninsured vehicle seizures in Bourne and Stamford

Yesterday (26th June 2020) evening local Response Officers located a Red Honda Estate being driven with no insurance on the A151 Raymond Rays Way in Bourne.
This offence carries a discretionary disqualification, an unlimited fine, 6-8 penalty points, a recovery and initial storage charge of £170, there after £20 per day storage fee. If the vehicle is not claimed within 7 days then it will be crushed or sold by the recovery agents.
 
Pro-active Policing continues as today (27th June 2020) at 13:20hrs PC 1169 ROBINSON and PC 134 HUMM were on patrol in Uffington Rd, Stamford when they stopped a silver Vauxhall Insignia. The driver was a provisional licence holder and the vehicle had no insurance. Both the driver and the supervising person were reported for no insurance offences and the vehicle has been seized.
