Good morning,

Yesterday morning 23/06/2020 at 10:40hrs an unknown offender stole a black VW Golf VRM RV67 DNJ from outside a property on Overdale Road B32. The keys were left in the ignition whilst the driver was delivering some parcels to a nearby property, the vehicle headed off in the direction of Quinton Road West.
Please be aware that there have been several similar incidents of this happening in Quinton in recent weeks

Please do not leave your vehicles unsecure especially with the keys in the ignition even for just a few seconds, opportunists (and you never see them until it's too late) are waiting to pounce.

Please be vigilant, ensure all vehicles are locked securely, consider fitting a STEERING LOCK/ IMMOBILISER /TRACKING DEVICE also please ensure all valuables including mobile phones, wallets, handbags, sunglasses, cash, bank cards, laptops, tools, dash cams and SAT NAVS are removed, alarms are activated and keys are placed in a TAMPER FREE POUCH and kept in a secure place.
