Police in South Derbyshire appeal for information following racial public order incident

Alert message sent 18/06/2020 11:41:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a VW car following a racial public order incident in South Derbyshire last month.

The incident happened at around 4pm on Sunday, 14 May, near to the junction of Frizams and Buckford Lane, between Findern and Stenson.

The drivers of two cars stopped to speak to each other about their manner of driving when one of them alleges that he was racially abused.

We would therefore like to speak to the driver of a white/grey, VW Polo, 68 plated car, who is described as a white man, between 20-30 years-of age, around 5’ 8”- 11” tall, slim build, rough beard and was said to be wearing a Chelsea football shirt. Following the incident the man drove off towards Stenson.
