Vehicle break-in on Widney Manor Road

Good Morning Citizen,

At some point between 18:00 Saturday 16th May 2020 and 06:00 Sunday 17th May 2020, a vehicle break-in occurred on Widney Manor Road, Solihull. The vehicle was said to be parked on the drive-way of the property where unknown offender/s gained access to the vehicle through unknown means. Vehicle is believed to have potentially been left unsecured. Fortunately in this case, no damage was caused during what ended as an untidy search to no avail. Nothing of value is believed to of been taken from within vehicle.

Officers will be in the area today checking for any witnesses or CCTV potentially relating to this incident. However, if you have any information relating to this incident please contact us by either using West Midlands Live chat or call 101 and quote crime reference number 20SH/114126F/20.

Please, to further prevent potential crime, remain vigilant.
Keep vehicles locked at all times and windows fully secured, if you must park roadside and have no access to a driveway, attempt to park within reasonable view and distance.
If you do have access to a driveway for parking, a spotlight or CCTV system may help to deter potential criminal/suspicious activity.
