Vehicle Crime

Alert message sent 18/05/2020 18:02:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

A very Good Evening to you all from the Fallings Park, Bushbury, Low Hill & Oxley Neighbourhood Policing Team,

It is with regret that we must report to you that there have been consecutive incidents of vehicle crime which have occured across the local area over the weekend.

Whilst we remain to be living in unprecedented, extremely testing and difficult times due to the national & international pandemic, & the measures which have been implemented by HM Goverment to protect ourselves & our families we would now, more than ever encourage you to remain vigilant in your efforts to guard against the activities of any opportunist criminals who may be at large across the areas & communities which we serve.

We would respectively remind you to ensure that your vehicle is secured before leaving it parked & unattended during the hours of daylight and again when leaving your vehicle parked & unattended over night.  We would also encourage you not to leave any items of value on display in your vehicles which may attract the unwanted attention of any opportunist criminals who may be operating in the area. We would also remind you that we do posses a limited variety of crime prevention aids, this includes that of crime prevention signage for vans that we are able to make available upon your request.

If you have any concerns, or if you have any Information which may relate to any occurrences of vehicle crime, or if you have any Information which you may feel would be of help to us then please do not hesitate to contact us at your earliest convenience via the normal channels.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times, wishing you all a very good evening.
