A house in the area of Westward Road, Ebley was broken into between 1915 and 2020 yesterday evening the 13 May 2020.  The caller returned home to find that entry had been gained to the property using a ladder that was at stored at the property.  A top floor window had been broken and entry was gained, unknown offenders have taken a Kindle, a safe containing cash and a collection of collector’s knives.  Incident number 404 of the 13/5/2020 refers.

Please consider the security at the rear of your homes as patio doors are particularly vulnerable, and are a favourite point of entry for burglars.  Also, remember to always remove the keys from the inside of any glazed or partially glazed external door when you go out, go on holiday or go away for the weekend, as thieves will use the key to gain entry if they can see it through the glass.
