Alert message sent 02/05/2020 07:38:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Morning Citizen

Good morning to you from West Midlands Police and the Bushbury North team, over the past few days there has been a few crimes of note.

We have seen a rise in offenders attempting or stealing people motorbikes around the Northwood Park area. Over the last 5 days we've had 3 reports in the area which are all linking to vehicle crime, the vehicles which are being targeted are motorbikes.
We've had a Black Sinnis Hoodlum 125cc stole from Browning Crescent on the 27th April.
We had an attempt theft of vehicle, where offenders have cut through the paddlocks securing the bike, however the steering lock stopped them taking the bike. This happened on Fairfax Road.
Also on Marsh Lane there was an incident where they've used an implement to cut the locks off the bike and made good of their escape. However on our arrival, one of the offenders spotted and was arrested for the offence.
