Stolen Item Reunited Burbage

Alert message sent 29/04/2020 18:06:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

Good news from the Burbage Beat Team

It was our pleasure this week to be able to reunite this Triride with the owner thanks to information we received from our community.
We became aware of its whereabouts and local officers were quick to react, within an hour we had the property back in our possession and were able to return it to its rightful owner who was over the moon! A piece of kit like this is not only expensive but is also invaluable to our victim in ensuring she is able to get about.

Thank you

We have managed to grow Neighbourhood Link to over a thousand members in Burbage. These members cover all over Burbage. I have had a great response, met some fantastic people and thank you for taking the time to sign up and read our Emails. This is a great platform for your local Policing team to keep you informed on local issues but also gives you a chance to get to know your beat team and what’s going on in your area.

Please mention us to your family, friends and neighbours so we can continue to grow. I would like to think that our crime prevention advice and raising awareness around crime in our area can help towards reducing crime figures going forward and build a sense of community. It is heart breaking when we visit victims of crime and see the impact it has on residents. We will continue to do all we can to support residents and prevent crime in our area.

Kind regards,

Darren.
