Appeal for information after reports man attacked in Lichfield

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after receiving reports that a man had been attacked in Lichfield. 
 
Officers were called to Common Lane in Fradley shortly before 3:40pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 16 April) to reports a 39-year-old man had been beaten up with a wooden fence post – causing serious injuries to his arm.
 
Enquiries – including the analysis of local CCTV – are ongoing.
 
Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 408 of 16 April, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
