Happy Easter from Oxclose Police Station!

Alert message sent 12/04/2020 15:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Happy Easter!

Yesterday Nottingham City Council gifted Oxclose Police Station a large quantity of Easter Eggs to give to good causes of our choice.

Whilst some of the Eggs were sent to vulnerable people and those experiencing hard times, we also chose to do something a little different. We had an ‘Egg-cellent’ idea to gift 100 Easter Eggs to children who had made posters to help spread the Stay Safe, Stay at Home, and Hope Message across Sherwood, Bestwood, Rise Park, Bulwell Forest and Highbury Vale.

This was just a small gesture from us to say thank you to everyone who has been, and still are, supporting front line workers by staying at home and spreading the messages of support and hope to others.

Whilst we wish we had enough Eggs to gift to everyone who had made posters we hope you understand that we only had a limited supply so spread them out equally across different streets within our area.
