Local News Update

Dear Resident,

Below is the Crime information for Humberston Ward for March 2020.


There have been 49 reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for March. There have been been 37 reported crimes for Humberston.

Domestic Burglary: 2

During the late evening of 3rd March, an unknown person tried the door handle of a chalet on The Fitties. No entry was gained.
Overnight on 11th & 12th March, a shed was forced open at a property on St Christopher's Road. Nothing was stolen.

Commercial Burglary: 1

Overnight 18th & 19th March, entry was made to Lucarly's public house after entering through the roof. The vending machines were attacked and cash stolen.

Vehicle Crime: 4

Number plates were stolen from two cars parked on Tesco's car park.
A bike was stolen from the roof of a car parked on Thorpe Park.
A car parked on Humberston Fitties was broken into by smashing a window. Tobacco was stolen.

Criminal Damage: 3

Humberston Fitties damage to a car.
Damage caused by a resident in a nursing home.
One domestic related criminal damage.

Other Crimes include:

8 x Shop Thefts (2 from Spar on North Sea Lane and the rest from Tesco).
10 x Assaults.

No reports of any ASB.

Below is the Crime information for New Waltham Ward for March 2020.


There have been 49 reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for March. There have been been 12 reported crimes for New Waltham.

Domestic Burglary: 1

Overnight 9th & 10th March an empty property on Toll Bar Avenue was entered after windows in the rar French doors were smashed. Nothing was stolen.

Commercial Burglary: 1

Power tools were stolen from a barn at Hall Farm Bungalows after padlocks were forced during the early hours of 3rd March.

Car Crime: 2

Overnight 2nd and 3rd March a mini excavator and plant trailer was stolen from Old Hall Farm.
Overnight 6th and 7th March a car parked on Earl Avenue was entered and searched. Nothing was stolen.

Criminal Damage: 1

Damage to a shop window at the Premier Shop on Greenlands Avenue.

Other Crime include:

Two making off without payment for fuel from Toll Bar Service Station.
One Shop Theft from Spar
Two Public Order Offences

There have been three reports of ASB:

Dunbar Avenue youths throwing sticks at a property.
Motorbikes being ridden on the Pavilion Fields.
General complaint of school pupils outside the shops suspected of smoking drugs, fighting amongst themselves and other behaviours.
