Biker Boys and Suspicious Behaviour

Alert message sent 17/03/2020 16:59:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Evening Citizen,

We have still only received a handful of messages regarding issues with the boys on bikes in Walmley.
I have personally checked the Walmley Residents page and there are a number of complaints and criminal offences that have not been reported to West Midlands Police.

I would like to remind residents Sutton Coldfield Teams DO NOT  have access to or use a facebook page therefore it is only monitored by our personal mobile phones.

I would like to take this opportunity to let residents know we are doing everything we can to address this matter. Whilst we do try and patrol where possible, we cannot be there at all times, and ask that you please contact us when this is happening. This can be done through 101 or via LiveChat on the West Midlands Police Website.

If you have any CCTV, Dashcam footage or photographs could you please forward them to suttonnewhall@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk

It is key that we identify these youths so we can take the necessary action, a number of them have already been issued with warning letters and have been referred to the Youth Offending Service team, it is vital we identify if this is a new group or youths that have previously been issued these notices so we can take further action.

I have also noted that there are comments regarding suspicious activity, also not reported to the police, can I please remind residents that if you do see anything suspicious that this is reported to the police straight away.

It may be nothing but we would rather confirm a false alarm than have a victim.

If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact the team by replying to this message or via email.

Kind Regards
PCSO French 31559
