General Crime Report 16th March 2020

Alert message sent 16/03/2020 13:28:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

Dear Surrey Heath In The Know members.

Whilst it is good news that we appear to have had only two residential burglaries reported in the last period (10th-16th March 2020), we must remember that our local police team do have to deal with a varied range of reports and incidents.

As such, for this period I have had a look to see the types and numbers of occurrences that have come in and have been/are being dealt with.

In all there were 120 occurrences in the period which included;

Burglary Business & Community (3), Burglary Residential (2), Child protection Incident (9), Collision/Road Incident (1), Concern for Safety (3), Crime Other (3), Crime Public Order (1), Crime Vehicle (10), Criminal Damage (4), Domestic Incident (11), Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (2), Drugs (3), Drunk/Drug In Charge (2), Fraud Being Investigated (4), Hate/Diversity Incident (2), Missing Person (4), Neighbour Dispute (2), Out of Force Enquiries (1), Prescribed Limit Offence (3), Public Order (2), Suspicious Incident (2), Theft (18), Violent Crime Other (9), Violent Crime Public Place (5), Violent Domestic (5), Vulnerable Adult Incident (5).

In any given period the team may of course face a different number and mix of incidents, but I thought I would send out statistics this week just as general information so everyone is aware of what the team deal with on a day to day basis.

As always, the local neighbourhood team are keen to receive information on all crime spotted or believed to have occurred as this can assist with ongoing enquiries, as well as helping to build up their wider intelligence picture.
If you believe you have any information relating to any of these events then please call 101 or alternatively, you can use the online reporting system
