Mole Valley Beat Bulletin Tues 18 Feb 2020

Good Morning, I hope you are enjoying the drier brighter conditions after our recent deluge. We are still experiencing a limited number of burglaries which I am letting you know about by a more local targeted approach on In The Know and social media. This will be some brief details of what happened and the best crime reduction tips. So please don’t worry if you are not seeing the reports here.

Think!

We want to get people talking about a subject that’s not always
easy to bring up.

Drink
driving.

When
mates are on a night out, nobody wants to be the one to bring down the mood.
But that can be a slippery slope to drinking before getting behind the wheel.

So we’re spreading the word that it’s ok to step in and block
your mate's pint.

We’ve created 60 Pint Blocks, brought to life by fresh new
illustrators from across the country. That’s one for each of the 60 car drivers
aged 17-24 who are killed or injured, on average every month, while found to be
driving over the legal alcohol limit.

Let’s get Pint Blocking.

Because a mate doesn’t let a mate drink drive.
