Storm Ciara Weather Warning

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for Storm Ciara. The storm will be arriving this evening and causing disruption throughout tomorrow.

Please take care if you're out and about on the roads tonight and tomorrow, especially during the hours of darkness.

Beware of obstructions such as wheelie bins and debris being blown into the road as well as trees, branches. Flying debris could lead to Injuries or danger to life.

What to expect:
Flying debris could lead to Injuries or danger to life
Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs expected
Longer journey times and cancellations, as road, rail, air and ferry services affected
Some roads and bridges closed
Power cuts with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
