Bogus Caller

Alert message sent 30/01/2020 12:30:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear WM Now Users,

We have received a call from a concerned member of the public who had a visit last night 29/01/2020 at approximately 6.30 pm. A young man knocked the door and asked our caller if they would like to buy any of the new kitchen items that were in his holdall bag. Our caller declined to buy and the young male left. This may be a genuine salesman but I'd like to ask you to be extra vigilant. Although there are many genuine callers there are also bogus callers. If in any doubt, simply do not answer your door.
Please see attachment which may be useful to place in windows and front doors.
