Good News: Cycle Theft arrest

Good Evening,

A third incident of pedal cycle theft has been reported from The Metalworks on Aston Webb Boulevard; details are as follows:

Date: Thursday 23rd January
Time: 0303hrs
Method: The male offender jumped over a fence into the student accommodation grounds, using tools he has brought with him to snap the lock on a pedal cycle, stealing said cycle.

The offender was stopped by officers as he was cycling away and was arrested.

Please visit the UB Police Office (R23) where PC Richards and PCSOs Robbie and Steph are on hand to offer advice on keeping your pedal cycle secure. There are d-locks available free of charge for students, and they can help you to register your cycle for free.
