Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police


The search for a man who went into the River Thames at Shepperton on Saturday is continuing this morning (Jan 20).

The man went into the water from a moored boat in the Dockett Eddy Lane area at 10.42pm.
The National Police Air Service, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service and Surrey Search and Rescue have all been involved in the search on the water and along the river bank over the weekend and will be supporting officers again today.

The man was last seen wearing green camouflage trousers and a grey hooded top.

Anyone with any information should contact Surrey Police on 101 (999 in an emergency) and quote the reference number PR/45200007289.
