Burglary Dwelling x 3

Location: Milano Rise. Date / Time: 22.12.19 – 10.00 x 19.30 hrs. M.O: Rear door forced. House searched. Jewellery stolen.

Location: Doncaster Road. Date / Time: 30.12.19 – 16.35 hrs. M.O: 3 to 4 males disturbed attempting to force rear door. Males made off in a small white van. No entry gained. Nothing stolen.

Location: Middlecliffe Lane. Date / Time: 30.12.19 – 18.30 x 19.30 hrs. M.O: Rear door forced. Car keys & Black Nissan Duke stolen along with watch & cash.

Attempt Burglary Dwelling x 1

Location: Bellbrooke Ave. Date / Time: 09.00 hrs. M.O: Occupant disturbs unknown person attempting to remove door chain. Offender duly runs away. No entry gained.

Burglary Other (Outbuilding) x 1

Location: Chapel Lane, Billingley. Date / Time: 05.01.20 – Overnight. M.O: Wooden door to workshop attacked. Unknown items (hand tools?) stolen.

Burglary Business x 2

Location: Illsley Road. Date / Time: 26.12.19 – 06.30 hrs. M.O: Lock to cellar door forced & alarm activated. Nothing stolen. Officers attend including dog but area search negative.

Location: Everill Gate Lane - Old Moor Tavern (Broomhill). Date / Time: 28.12.19 (Overnight). M.O: Rear door forced. Safe forced & cash stolen.


Please note: On 6th January 2020 a 21 year old male from Darfield was arrested and recalled to prison. Intelligence suggested this male may well have been responsible for a number of offences in this area.
