Humberside Fire and Rescue Service Council Tax Precept Consultation 2020-21

Alert message sent 13/01/2020 14:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Fire & Rescue

We are consulting all council tax payers about increasing the amount we charge to support the delivery of our services. We are asking if people would be prepared to pay between 9p extra per month (Band A property) to a maximum of 28p extra (Band H).

The increase would raise an additional £450k per year. If we don’t increase the council tax precept we will have to make further reductions to the services we provide.

The consultation options are a simple choice between agreeing to support an increase, or not.

For further information about the options and to take part in the online consultation survey, please click here.

Consultation runs from 12 noon on 13 January to 12 noon on 27 January 2020.

If you require the form in another format, please contact the Corporate Communication Team, via 01482 565333 or by email to corporatecommunication@humbersidefire.gov.uk
