Alert message sent 09/01/2020 19:07:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

Between 1200hrs, 06/01/20 and 1000hrs, 07/01/20 some person has attended at a farm in the Avonbridge area and cut a padlock to gain access to a garage.

Rural properties can be more vulnerable to this type of crime due to their location and the presence of items such as quad bikes and farm vehicles which can be desirable to theives.

External lighting, alarms and CCTV can all reduce the risk of being a victim of acquisitive crime.

If you have any information that could assist our enquiry, please call 101 and quote reference 0913 of 07/01/20.

Thanks,
