Irchester patrols

Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police


Over the last few days officers from Team 1 Wellingborough Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting patrols around Irchester village and Little Irchester.

Officers from Wellingborough Safer Roads Team have also been in the village conducting speed enforcement activity enforcing the 30mph speed limit and other road traffic offences.

The team also bought along the ANPR van which is a tool used to support the police in identifying vehicles which shouldn’t be on the road and developing intelligence.

Yesterday evening PCSO’s Blacha and PCSO Fenner stopped two individuals in the village and stopped and asked them to account for their activity in the area,this top was well received by the pair who were all in order and allowed to enjoy the rest of their evening.

Patrols were also conducted around Irchester Country Park throughout the evening to deter Anti-social behaviour,several vehicles were checked throughout the visits and all in order and intelligence logs submitted.

Officers continue to conduct patrols in the village if you see us and have concerns please stop and speak to us.
