Cantley Bessacarr Burglary updates

Please be aware of the following burglaries that have occurred in the area which have been reported to South Yorkshire Police since the 14/12/19.

Irwell Gardens - Rear lock forced - Items within stolen and vehicle

Hallam Close - Rear lock forced - Items within and vehicle stolen

Newmarket Road - Attempted burglary

Lytham Close - Entry gained but house alarm activated scaring off offenders

Burnham Close - Rear window forced and entry gained from failing to snap door lock - house ransacked

Hakehill Close - Entry gained via an upstairs window - house ransacked

Warnington Drive - Rear conservatory door lock forced.

Hunster Close - Attempted burglary - rear door handle damaged and loose.

Temple Gardens - Attempted burglary - disturbed

Aintree Ave - Attempted burglary - damaged caused to lock.

Wyndthorpe Ave - Rear conservatory lock damaged and entry gained to this room only.

Aintree Ave - Neighbour sees front door ajar - front and side euro lock forced - house ransacked.

Church Lane - Attempted burglary.

Packington Road - Entry gained to property and disturbed by dog.

Please be aware that patrols are being conducted, however please ensure you check your front and back doors are locked, and close all the windows before you leave the house unattended or go to bed.
