Alert message sent 23/12/2019 15:55:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

This is a Message from the Penn and Merry Hill Neighbourhood Police Team.

As we approach Christmas can we remind you of a few tips to keep the burglars and car thieves away.

When visiting your friends and relatives please leave lights on in you’re house if you are coming home in the dark.

Don’t leave Christmas presents on show though the window, make sure the house is locked up and if you have an Alarm please use it.

Christmas shoppers please don't leave presents on display in the car when out shopping, put them in the boot, out of sight out of mind.

If you have a vehicle steering lock, please use it and remember make sure your car is locked before you walk away from the car.

And finally please don’t drink and drive if you’re going out for Christmas parties, be safe and get a taxi.
Have a Happy and safe Christmas.
