Burglary Residential

Alert message sent 20/12/2019 12:50:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Afternoon,

This is a message from the Penn & Merry Hill Neighbourhood Police Team.

Crime number: 20WV/299038W/19

Please see below the details of a crime committed in your area:
Crime: Burglary Residential
Date & Time Committed: 19/12/2019 between 11:00-12:00
Location: Uplands Avenue, Bradmore

On this occasion an elderly member of the public was targeted whilst taking out their bins. In this short amount of time the offender managed to gain access into the property and steal goods from inside. The offender was an opportunist and this seems to be an isolated incident.

In order to help prevent this from happening again there will now be an increase in patrols around the area from the local neighbourhood team. We also advise to make sure to keep your property secure even if you are leaving for a very short amount of time i.e. going to the car or your rear garden. Todays criminals will take the smallest opportunity to commit crime. Please do not give them a chance.

Stay Safe!
