Boy arrested on suspicion of robbery near Derby train station

A boy has been arrested on suspicion of committing a robbery in the Station Approach area of Derby.

The boy has been arrested on suspicion of robbing a 20-year-old man on a path near the train station on Wednesday 10 December.

He has been remanded into custody in relation to a different crime and inquiries into this robbery continue.

Detectives are investigating several robberies in this area and are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Patrols in the area have been increased.
