Witness appeal after motorcyclist seriously injured in Colerne collision

We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Colerne.

It happened at around 5.30pm last Monday (2/12) at the crossroads of Doncombe Lane and Quarry Lane.

It involved a black Ford Transit van and a blue Suzuki motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, sustained multiple serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he continues to receive treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

PC Alexandra Way, from Wiltshire Police's Roads Policing Unit, said: "We want to hear from anyone who was in the area and either witnessed the collision or who saw either vehicle beforehand.
