Weekly Crime summary

Crimes listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Station) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Station).

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported between Saturday 30th November and Friday 6th December. Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes.

54190118840  30/11/2019  10:43 hours  Burglary Business and Community,  ST. GEORGES GATE, HARNHAM, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have smashed a window and gained entry into the vestry. The suspects have not managed to get any further and have left the same way they came in.  It is not known if anything has been taken.
54190118918   30/11/2019  16:32 hours  Burglary Residential, CASTLE ROAD, SALISBURY,  Two unknown males have gained entry to the property via the rear extension smashing the glass by unknown means.
54190118971   30/11/2019  21:27 hours  Criminal Damage, THE GREENCROFT, SALISBURY, Group of unknown youths have caused damage to IP's front door after banging very hard on the door and running away.
54190118968  30/11/2019  21:49 hours  Criminal Damage,  GREENCROFT STREET, SALISBURY, Ongoing issues with unknown youths banging on IP's front door and running away. Damage has been caused to the wooden front door by the youths, due to how hard they banged the door that evening.
54190119142  01/12/2019  18:47 hours  Criminal Damage,  CAR PARK, SAUNDERS AVENUE, BISHOPDOWN, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has caused damage to side wall of tyre by slashing with a sharp blade.
54190119177  01/12/2019  17:53 hours  Burglary Residential, ANTELOPE COURT, BROWN STREET, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has tried to prise back door open to gain entry. Marks were left in the frame and around the door lock. No entry gained and nothing missing.
54190119246  02/12/2019  08:44 hours  Theft,  FARM LANE, CHURCHFIELDS, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have gained entry to the building yard by cutting the large padlock that was securing the gate, believed to have used an angle grinder and have stolen cavity insulation boards valued at  £30,000 and have also cut the nozzle of the diesel pump and have stolen the diesel that was stored inside for the fork lift trucks. Cost unknown.
54190119407  02/12/2019  14:00 hours  Theft,  LONDON ROAD, SALISBURY,  Two unknown person(s) have entered the store and have concealed alcohol valued at £20 in their bag. They have then left the store without making any attempt to pay.
54190119494   02/12/2019  15:23 hours  Theft,  CHURCHFIELDS ROAD, SALISBURY, Two unknown youths are removing parking tickets from unknown cars.
54190119538  02/12/2019  19:07 hours  Theft,  MARKET SQUARE, SALISBURY, A jacket was placed on the floor whilst the owner went to skateboard a few moments later they returned to discover the  jacket gone,  bank card and phone and car keys were in the stolen jacket.
54190119550  02/12/2019  19:46 hours  Criminal Damage,  MILTON ROAD, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) has smashed the rear windscreen of a vehicle whilst it was parked in the carpark at the location. Unknown value of damage.
54190119746   03/12/2019  13:45 hours  Theft,  WILTON ROAD, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have entered the store and placed an assortment of meat,  laundry and chocolate. Valued at £86.00. They have gone up to the self-service till and placed a card in the machine as though they were going to pay, they then placed goods in bags and left the store without making a payment.
54190119982  04/12/2019  09:38 hours  Criminal Damage, WOODSIDE ROAD, BEMERTON HEATH, SALISBURY,  Unknown offender has used a knife to cut a 1 inch slash in a vehicle tyre which was parked away from path in highway.
54190120163  04/12/2019  14:31 hours  Theft,  MINSTER STREET, SALISBURY, Unknown person(s) have entered the shop which is a jewellers and have taken a watch valued at £7500. They have then left the shop on foot without paying for the watch.
54190120165   04/12/2019 14:38 hours  Theft,  THE MALTINGS, SALISBURY, Suspect has been seen to enter store and go directly to the meat aisle where he has put 6 beef joints into his bag and then made his way to the exit of the store without making attempts to pay for the items. Suspect identified – enqs ongoing.
54190120445 05/12/2019  10:11 hours  Criminal Damage, NELSON HOUSE, NELSON ROAD, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have spray painted graffiti over the garage door at his works premises.
54190120632 05/12/2019  17:50 hours  Theft,  NEW CANAL, SALISBURY,  Male has taken a bottle of wine from the shelf and hidden it under some clothes he was carrying. Security officer asked if he would like to pay for it at the tills and the male pushed past the security officer and walked out the main entrance without making payment. Suspect identified – enqs ongoing
54190120670 05/12/2019  19:31 hours  Criminal Damage, NETHERHAMPTON ROAD, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has used unknown object to smash the small side window of an address, no entry has been gained and nothing has been stolen.
54190120719 06/12/2019  02:46 hours  Theft, WILTON ROAD, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect has stolen a push bike that was left insecure outside the night pay of a service station. Boardman MHT 8.6, blue and orange, rubberised front lights and seat stem, chemically etched registration number. CCTV enqs ongoing

54190118902   30/11/2019  15:39 hours  Vehicle Offences, BLACK LANE, LOVER, Unknown suspect(s) have smashed the passenger window of a car, and stolen a black fluffy handbag containing a blue spotty bag with medication in. Also a purse which contained miscellaneous cards and items.
54190119049  01/12/2019  11:06 hours  Criminal Damage, THE SANDRINGHAMS, WHADDON, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has scratched a car passenger side door by unknown means.
54190119252  02/12/2019  09:11 hours  Vehicle offences, STREET RECORD, RHODES-MOORHOUSE WAY, LONGHEDGE, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect (s) have entered a works van via the rear tailgate and have broken the door lock, once inside the van the suspects have stolen a works sampling bag containing equipment used for his work, of no great value.
54190120728  06/12/2019  07:29 hours  STANDLYNCH, DOWNTON, SALISBURY,  Male suspects have driven a white van (partial reg – FX11***) onto a farmyard, stopped, the passenger got out and picked something up and stole it (possibly car battery) He then got back in the van and both suspects drove off at speed.

54190119379  02/12/2019  13:32 hours  Burglary Business and Commercial, LOWER ROAD, QUIDHAMPTON, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have broken into the garage damaging the garage door and a wacker plate worth approximately £300 has been stolen. There were also some tools belonging to workmen stolen details of which will follow.
54190120259 04/12/2019 16:28 NORTHLEIGH TERRACE, WILTON Theft, Unknown suspect(s) has stolen pedal cycle which was left in his back garden. (Giant, front suspension mountain bike in Brass Orange. TVO £300)
54190120732 06/12/2019 08:10 NURSERY SCHOOL, NETHERHAMPTON VILLAGE Burglary Business and Community - Unknown suspect has entered the premises by smashing the window and unlocking the door. Once inside they have searched the draws and cupboards, opened envelopes and taken cash.
