Appeal for witnesses following a burglary in Sprigs Holly

Alert message sent 03/12/2019 14:45:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Sprigs Holly, Chinnor where a classic car was stolen.

The incident took place between midnight on 29th November – 8.30am on 30th November after offenders gained access to a garage and stole a black Ford Escort RS2000 1980 model displaying VRM. They also stole various power tools.

We believe the vehicle would have been driven or pushed through several fields at the rear of the property as a lock was cut off the gate between the adjoining fields. A wire was also cut at the rear of the Charles Napier Pub so we think they went back onto Sprigs Holly Lane towards Radnage. The car was later recovered in Marlow.

If you live in the area and have CCTV please could you check it for the dates and times mentioned above.

If you have any information about this incident please report it on the Thames Valley Police website, or call 101, quoting reference 43190374092.
