Communities Defeat Terrorism

Alert message sent 30/11/2019 17:49:00

Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police

Officers and staff from Northamptonshire Police are working with colleagues across the country in response to the incident on London Bridge yesterday. Whilst there is no suggestion at this time that anywhere in the county is at increased risk officers have been identified to patrol areas where large crowds are expected. These officers are there to provide reassurance as well as to respond to incidents if the need arises.

You can assist us by reporting any suspicious incidents or behaviour on 101 or 999 if you believe a threat is imminent. Information about any suspected crime or criminals can be reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111 at any time.

More information about the way terrorism and extremism can be tackled is available at https://act.campaign.gov.uk/ as well as helpful advice to keep yourself safe if you are involved in a terrorist incident.
