Dog Fouling

Alert message sent 17/11/2019 18:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police

Early this morning whilst on cycle patrols PCSO Blacha stopped a male walking around the Winstanley Road area of Wellingborough and observed him failing to pick up after his dog.

The man was issued with a fine for £80 which goes upto £100 if not paid within 14 days and upon conviction in court can face a fine of upto £1000

Whilst the FPN was being issued for Failing to comply with the Public Spaces Protection Order the dog continued to defecate on the public highway of which evidence was captured from Officer body worn video.

The message is simple when walking your dog always take bags with you and keep your neighbourhood clean and use the bin to dispose of your waste.

There is no such thing as the dog poo fairy.
