PCSO Engagement with Local Community

Alert message sent 14/11/2019 18:09:00

Information sent on behalf of West Yorkshire Police

PCSO Taylor recently attended the Half Term Fun Day event which was held at the Dennis Healy Centre on Foundry Mill Street, Seacroft.
On the 29th October S.C.O.T which stands for Seacroft Community On Top were part of  the Autumn half term fun day which was held at the Denis Healy centre and gave the below positive feedback regarding PCSO Taylor:
“During the event we met a wide range of other organisation such as the lady from the West Yorkshire police whom is called PCSO Sharon Taylor. She made a great impression with our local kids and their parents, which showed how brilliant she was at building relationships with people she hasn’t come across beforehand. One of the activities PCSO Sharon Taylor did was showing how each individual has their own identity and helped reassure the kids that the police are there to help and guide everyone, not to intimidate or frighten them.
Due to the relationship we have built with PCSO Sharon Taylor we would like for her to come along to our other sessions such as our stay and play and youth club to educate our local children and young people on how to keep out of mischief and stay safe within our community”
PCSO Taylor will continue to build relations within the Communities of Seacroft and looks forward to attending future events.
Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Teams continue to forge key relationships with the Communities we serve.
