A number of arrests were made during this week. Offences include:- actual bodily harm, harassment, wanted on warrant engage in controlling behaviour, common assault, possession of a Class A drug, assault, vehicle interference, drunk and disorderly, assault, driving with no insurance, driving with no insurance, stalking, attempted theft, criminal damage, shoplifting, affray, handling stolen goods, assault police and breach of bail.

Crime summary


Mons Avenue, Orchard- Report received on Sunday 10 November that a vehicle has been entered and tools stolen including a nail gun and Sestoll saw. The shed has also been entered and a garden strimmer taken.    Serial 0342 10/11
Ash Grove- Orchard- At approx 7:30pm on Sunday 10 November someone has broken the padlock off a shed in an attempt to gain entry but was disturbed.   Serial 1136 10/11
Charlwood Street, Marine- Between 11:30pm on Sunday 3 November to 09:30am on Monday 4 November a vehicle has been entered. A Black Nike wallet with £10 in has been taken along with an ID card, drivers licence, sunglasses and cigarettes.   Serial 0877 04/11
Linden Road, Bognor Regis- Between 09:00pm on Monday 4 November and 05:00am on Tuesday 5 November a van has been entered and two garden strimmer’s have been taken.   Serial 0737 05/11
Canterbury Close, Pagham- Between 09:00pm on Tuesday 5 November and 06:00am on Wednesday 6 November a vehicle has been entered. Several items taken including packs of socks, Avon orders and child’s games.   Serial 0227 07/11
Bassett Road, Marine- Between 06:00pm and 11:00pm on Wednesday 6 November a van has been entered and tools stolen.    Serial 1052 07/11
 Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround

Horton Place, Angmering- At 11:00 on Tuesday 5 November two males have attended a property in order to look at a boiler. The workmen were supposedly from British Gas but did not wear uniform or come in a van. Due to the suspicious nature this was considered as an attempted distraction burglary, nothing was taken.    Serial 0550 05/11
Whitecroft, Rustington- At 12:00pm on Wednesday 6 November a rear door look has been discovered to have been tampered with. No entry gained, nothing taken.   Serial 0690 06/11
Stean Furlong, Ham- Between 12:00pm and 02:00pm on Wednesday 6 November a property has been entered and jewelry stolen and wrapped Christmas presents opened.   Serial 0805 06/11
Sussex Street, Wick- On Thursday 7 November a property has been entered and an untidy search has been conducted and child’s birthday presents been gone through.   Serial 0954 07/11
Timberleys, Brookfield- At 03:00am on Friday 8 November two males have been caught on CCTV trying doors to a property. No entry gained.   Serial 0222 08/11
Timberleys, Brookfield- Between 11:30pm on Thursday 7 November and 06:00am on Friday 8 November a property has been entered via a conservatory window and items have been taken. Description of items: Laptop- Dell silver colour, Laptop- HP 640 GP, Motorbike jacket, 2x Apple iphone 5.   Serial 0286 08/11
Gloucester Place, Ham- Between 03:00am and 06:30am on Sunday 10 November a property has been entered and items taken. Description of items: Laptop, Electronic Tablet, Wallet. The car has also been stolen.   Serial 0238 10/11
Church Lane, Barnham- overnight on Sunday 3 November into Monday 4 November a shed has been broken into and a hedge strimmer and hedge trimmer has been stolen.   Serial 0584 05/11
Church Lane, Barnham- Between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on Sunday 10 November a shed has been entered and a red tool box has been stolen.    Serial 1359 10/11
Station Road, East Preston- at 05:00am on Tuesday 5 November a male has been disturbed trying to enter a van.    Serial 0147 05/11
New Road, Rustington- Between 09:00pm on Monday 4 November and 03:30am on Tuesday 5 November a vehicle has been entered. A coat has been taken from the vehicle and left on the floor and a credit card was taken.   Serial 0261 05/11
Lawrence Avenue, Rustington- Overnight between 06:30pm on Monday 4 November and 10:30am on Tuesday 5 November a vehicle has been entered and entry gained by smashing the passenger window. Nothing taken.    Serial 0541 05/11
Beach Road, River- At approximately midnight to 01:00am on Wednesday 6 November a moped has been stolen.   Serial 0058 06/11
Beechlands Court, East Preston- Found on Saturday 9 November that two screws have been put in tires of car and now both tires are flat.   Serial 0876 09/11
Roman Avenue, Angmering- Between 11:00pm on Saturday 9 November and 06:30am on Sunday 10 November a vehicle has been entered by forcing the rear passenger window down. A bag and Ipad have been taken.   Serial 0368 10/11
Beech Way, Angmering- Between 11:00pm on Saturday 9 November and 12:00pm on Sunday 10 November a vehicle has been entered and tools stolen.   Serial 0559 10/11
Kent Road, Wick- Between 10:00pm on Saturday 9 November and 5:30pm on Sunday 10 November a vehicle has been entered and a purse has been stolen.  Serial 1274 10/11
Church Lane, Yapton- between 10:30pm on Sunday 3 November and 08:00am on Monday 4 November two vehicles on a secure drive have been entered. Loose change and bottle of aftershave have been taken.   Serial 0328 04/11
Torton Hill Road, Arundel- Between 09:00pm on Wednesday 6 November and 08:00am on Thursday 7 November both number plates have been stolen from a vehicle.    Serial 0221 07/11
New Road, Rustington- Between midnight and 04:00am on Tuesday 5 November a vehicle has been damaged by way of the soft top has been cut. No entry gained and nothing taken.   Serial 0224 05/11
Mill Lane, Wick- Between 06:00pm and 10:00pm on Tuesday 5 November the glass in a front door has been broken by unknown means.   Serial 0327 06/11
Capstan Drive, Brookfield- Between 10:40am and 04:45pm on Wednesday 6 November the passenger side wing mirror has been smashed from a vehicle.   Serial 1681 06/11
North Lane, Rustington- At approximately 06:13pm on Wednesday 6 November a group of four boys have kicked a parked vehicle while scooting past and attempted to kick the wing mirror.    Serial 0031 07/11
Cherry Tree Drive, Barnham- Between 09:00pm on Friday 8 November and 10:30am on Saturday 9 November the rear windscreen of a vehicle has been smashed. No entry gained.   Serial 0577 09/11

 Anti-Social Behaviour

Bedford Street Morrison, Bognor- at 07:40pm on Tuesday 5 November a group of youths have been seen in the multistory car park being loud and throwing rubbish down to the street below. PCSOs have attended given words of advice to the youths and moved them on.   Serial 1377 05/11
