Thefts from Motor Vehicles Up To 14th Nov..

Hestrersway, Springbank & St Marks Areas

Overnight of the 6th 7th Nov a car in Kingsmead Close was attacked by smashing a rear window with a brick. Cash was stolen from the centre console. Inc. 140 07-11-19 Hestersway

Between 11.15pm & 11.45pm on 7th Nov three males wearing baseball  caps and hoodies were recorded on CCTV entering an insecure car in Dunlin Terrace. The vehicle was searched with a phone charging cable, air freshener etc. being stolen. Inc. 251 08-11-19 Hestersway

Overnight of the 8th 9th Nov a car in Coppice Gate was entered by unknown means and thoroughly searched. Stolen was a suit jacket, a rain coat and a gillet. Inc. 114 09-11-19 Hestersway

Overnight of the 9th 10th Nov a van in Gloucester Road close to Scholars Court was entered by unknown means. Stolen were a sat nav unit, scratch cards etc. Inc. 104 10-11-19 St Marks

At approx. 00.15am on 11th Nov a car in Somergate Road was attacked by smashing the driver’s side window with a brick. Nothing reported stolen, damage only. Inc. 4  11-11-19 Springbank

Reported at 11.55pm on 12th Nov that a car in Carter Road had been attacked by throwing a brick through the rear offside window. Nothing reported stolen at this time only the damage. Inc. 457  12-11-19 Hestersway

Between 2.15am & 2.30am on 13th Nov a car in Fulbrook Close was attacked by smashing the front offside window with stones. Vehicle searched but nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 32  13-11-19 Hestersway

Between 4.30pm 8th Nov & 7am 11th Nov a van on a house drive in Beaumont Drive was entered by unknown means and searched. Stolen were a quantity of power tools. Inc. 96 13-11-19 Springbank

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually secure.
Lock boxes are available for all types of vehicles so that tools etc. can be secured within the vehicle.
