Allestree Police invite residents to Cuppa with a Copper

Alert message sent 13/11/2019 08:31:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

The officers from our Safer Neighbourhood team in Allestree are inviting residents to join them for a ‘Cuppa with a Copper’.

The event is being held at St Edmund’s Church Hall, later this week on Friday, 15 November.

PCSO Ibrar Rafique, from the team, explains: “I like to get out and about in the village as much as possible, however it is not possible to see everyone.

“This is an opportunity for me to be in a set place at a set time so if anyone has any policing concerns they can come and have a chat with us in a more informal setting.

“Allestree is a pleasant, safe place to live and we are determined to keep it that way so this is an opportunity for people to come and let us know of anything they would like us to deal with.”

The team will be in the church hall on St Edmund’s Close between 10am and 12midday.

If you are not able to make the event but would like to speak to the team they can be contacted through the following non-emergency methods:

Facebook – send us a private message to /DerbyshireConstabulary
Twitter – direct message our contact centre on @DerPolContact
Website – complete the online contact form www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.
Phone – call us on 101.

The team are also on social media on Twitter @AllestreeSNT and Facebook www.facebook.com/AllestreeSNT
