Alert message sent 09/11/2019 13:37:00

Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

On Friday 08/11/2019 we had three attempted burglaries reported to us. Two were on Westfield Road, and one was on Sunbeam Road. The offences occurred between 5:00am and 5:30am

The suspects targetted side entrances on all three properties and attempted to force the locks.

Local CCTV shows two suspects in dark clothing with their hoods pulled up. If any local residents have home CCTV that shows the faces of these people, please get in touch.

Some simple advice to help keep your home safe includes securing your garden with a fence and lockable gate.
Consider the use of lights to indicate the presence of any potential intruder.
Don't leave valuables on view through windows and keep keys out of sight.
Most importantly keep all windows and doors locked, even when you are home.
