Remembrance Parade Road Closures

The following road closures will be in place on the 10th and 11th November.

We will be supporting the events by risk assessing road closure plans and providing police support at junctions to promote the safety of members of the public and marshals.
Your patience and cooperation is appreciated.
Please plan your journeys and seek alternative routes as necessary.

Egham Remembrance Parade
On Sunday 10th November the traditional remembrance parade will take place in Egham in honour of those who gave their lives in the two world wars.
The parade will be leaving the Waspe Farm car park at approximately 09:40 and will take the High Street route to St John’s Church requiring the following road closures.
Waspe Farm at the junction of Station Road
Station Road at the junction of Church Road
Grange Road at the junction of Church Road
Hummer Road at the junction of High Street
After a service of approximately 40 minutes at St John’s Church the parade will be reassemble in the Manor Farm Lane beside the church departing back towards Waspe Farm at around 11:15. This will take place along Church Road, left at the traffic lights onto station Road, then along Station Road and right into the Waspe Farm car park.


 
Addlestone Remembrance Parade
On Sunday 10th November the traditional remembrance parade will take place at Addlestone in honour of those who gave their lives in the two world wars.
Closures will take place from 09:15 - 10:15 and will be required at Chertsey Road at the Prairie Road, Green Lane and Princess Mary’s Road junctions to allow the parade to travel safely from the Victory Park gates to St Paul’s Church.



Chertsey Remembrance Parade
On Monday 11th November the traditional remembrance service outside St Peter’s Church Chertsey will take place in honour of those who gave their lives in the two world wars.
Closures will take place at approximately 10:45-11:30 affecting London Street between the junctions of Heriot Road and Windsor Street/Alwyns Lane.
