Daily crime report for the Roundhay area

Afternoon everyone,
Just to make you aware of one reported burglaries and one theft from vehicle in the Roundhay area within the past 48 hours. Please find all details below:
Burglary residential in The View area. Occurred between 08.00 and 14.30 on 06/11/2019. Between times stated the house is locked and secured. Unknown suspect/s smash rear window causing damage, entry is gained via the side kitchen window by prizing it open by unknown means. Various items are taken before the suspects leave in unknown and unseen direction. Crime reference number 13190571023.
Theft from motor vehicle in the Roundhay Road area. Occurred at 13.30 on 06/11/2019. At time stated victim returns to her car after shopping. Victim puts her shopping in the boot and handbag on the passenger seat. Suspect 1 approaches victim and tells her a dog has been injured by a car and asks her to come out and look at the rear of the car. Suspect two is believed to have opened the nearside front door and removed bank cards from purse. Suspect/s make off unseen. Crime reference number 13190571283.

Please make neighbours and family aware of the theft from motor vehicle crime please. This is the first time that WYP in the North East Leeds area have heard of this type of MO.

There will be an increase in police patrols in the area whenever possible.
