MISUSE OF FIREWORKS INFORMATION APPEAL

The following information is being circulated on behalf of Police Scotland

Police Scotland is committed to the prevention and detection of offences involving misuse of fireworks.  This includes:
  • The possession of fireworks by under 18s
  • The sale of fireworks to under 18s
  • Letting off fireworks between 11pm and 7am (midnight on bonfire night)
  • Throwing or setting off fireworks in a public place
  • Causing suffering to animals.

If you know someone who is misusing fireworks, causing deliberate fires, or have other information please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
