Darker nights- are your ready

Alert message sent 31/10/2019 10:32:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear residents of the Brandwood ward,

Are you prepared for the onset of autumn/winter? The dark evenings can provide perfect cover for burglars who will easily spot an open window in an unoccupied room, see your valuables through open curtains or blinds and chance their luck with an unlocked door whilst you're distracted by Halloween celebrations or firework displays. Try to make your house look occupied when you are not there.

We also understand some of you will have increased concerns around Halloween, ASB and fireworks misuse.

We have put together some seasonal information and advice, designed to help keep you, your loved ones, and property safe and secure.

Please click on the ‘No Trick or Treats’  image at the bottom of the page to download a Halloween window card.
