Thefts from Motor Vehicles up to 30th Oct

Reported at 10.15pm on 24th Oct that a car in Market Street had just had its window smashed. Offender fled the scene on a bike. Stolen rucksack containing sports gear and headphones. Inc. 444 24-10-19 Town Centre

Overnight of the 24th 25th Oct a car in Southwood Lane was attacked by smashing the passenger side window. Nothing believed stolen at this time. Inc. 117 25-10-19 Tivoli

Overnight of the 24th 25th Oct a van in Montpellier Street was entered by unknown means. Stolen was a lap top. Inc. 251 26-10-19 Town Centre

Between 7pm 24-10-19 & 1pm 26-10-19 a car in The Park was entered via unknown means and thoroughly searched. Nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 366 26-10-19 Tivoli

Overnight of the 26th  27th Oct an insecure van in Leckhampton Road was entered and searched.. A handbag and contents were stolen from the passenger foot well. Bank cards from the handbag were subsequently used in and around Cheltenham the same night. Inc. 98 27-10-19. Leckhampton

Overnight of the 26th 27th Oct a car in Village Road, was entered via unknown means and searched. A pushchair, a rucksack and a jump start kit were stolen from the boot area. Inc. 146  27-10-19 Hesters Way

Overnight of the 27th 28th Oct a car in Hillside Close was entered by unknown means and searched. Nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 154 28-10-19

Always lock your vehicle when you leave it and take that extra second to make sure that it is actually locked. Do not leave wallets and handbags in unattended vehicles containing bank cards as they can be used with no further security checks.
