Alert message sent 23/10/2019 15:57:00

Information sent on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary

We have released an image of a motocross bike stolen from a shed in Sawmills in a bid to trace it.

Sometime between 7pm on Friday 11 October and 7am the next day, a thief broke into a shed in the garden of a house in Ripley Road.

They took a green Kawasaki motocross bike from inside.

A black Vauxhall Astra was seen near the house that night and the men inside were acting suspiciously.

We have also received a report that the bike was seen on the back of a trailer on the morning of October 12, heading toward Pentrich. The trailer was being pulled by a white Ford Mondeo.

Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Ruth Platts with reference 19000545444.
